Questions are submitted anonymously, but to prevent abuse, the asker's IP address is shown to the owner of the question box. IP addresses are stored in encrypted form and are not disclosed to any third party other than the owner.

• Providing the question box service (sending and receiving questions, publishing answers)
• User authentication and account management
• Filtering inappropriate content
• Reviewing questions and posts before delivery, and accepting reports (we record the reason and an identifier used to prevent duplicate reports from the same device)

Use of Browser Technologies

The Site uses standard browser technologies to improve the user experience and analyze access. You can disable these technologies in your browser settings, but some features may no longer work correctly. Some features - such as "My question log", which keeps copies of the questions you sent - store settings and records only in your browser's on-device storage (localStorage).
