Use as an app

Add Q drop to your home screen and it opens full screen, just like an app. Checking new questions and posting answers is one tap away - no need to launch your browser first.

Android phone / desktop

  1. Open this page in Chrome.
  2. Open the menu buttonin the top-right corner.
  3. Choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari.
  2. Tap the share buttonat the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen"from the menu.
  4. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner, and the icon appears on your home screen.

If you cannot find "Add to Home Screen", scroll down within the share menu.

About push notifications

You can receive a push notification on this device when a new question arrives. Notifications never include the question text - only a note that a new question has arrived.

You can turn notifications on from the push notification setting in your inbox (dashboard) after you log in. You cannot subscribe from this page while logged out.

On iPhone / iPad, notifications only work when you open the app added to your home screen. Please finish adding it to your home screen with the steps above first.
