honestly this is embarrassing but like... i've had a crush on someone from my community for almost a year now and we're finally getting closer? but my parents would literally lose it if they found out i'm even talking to them because they're not from "the right background" or whatever. idk if i should just confess my feelings before my mom finds out through the aunty network lol or if i'm setting myself up for disaster. how do i even balance what i want vs what's expected of me without everything blowing up in my face?
